Diablo 2 Cheats
Diablo 2 and Lord Of Destruction Cheats
Target Line Cheats
Target line cheats are probably the easiest and most effective in Diablo II. What you have to do to initiate these cheats is first, right-click on your Diablo II icon, and go to the “Shortcut” tab. Enter the code after the quotes in the target line. One important thing is to make sure that you put a space between each code, and a space before the last quote and the first quote.
Now, here are the codes…
* -act1 (Creates level 1 character in act 1)
* -act2 (Creates level 16 character in act 2)
* -act3 (Creates level 21 character in act 3)
* -act4 (Creates level 27 character in act 4)
* -act5 (Creates level 33 character in act 5)
* -ns (No sound drivers are loaded)
* -nosave (Never saves the game)
* -skiptobnet (Skip the main menu to go directly to Battle.net)
* -opengl (Uses OpenGL graphic renderer in the game)
* -w (Opens the game in a window
* -npl (Stops the game from preloading anything)
“Players” Cheats
What these cheats do is trick the game to think that multiple people are playing. When multiple people are playing, the monsters get harder, you get more experience, and the loot is better.
This must be done in single-player. Basically, just type
/players x
X is the number of people that you want to make it think are playing. /players 1 will have no effect, whereas /players 8 makes it incredibly difficult, but with better experience and better loot. You can substitute X for any number between 1 and 8. This helps if you have a mid-to-high level character and want some decent loot.
Don’t Die From Poison
This is more of a tip than a cheat, but it always comes in handy… If you’re about to die from a potion, just set up a town portal and go to town. While in-town, poison will not affect you, and you can be free to get your health back up.
